Baseball Opening Day

Last night marked the opening of another Major League Baseball season (although the Seattle Mariners and the Oakland Athletics played a few official games in Tokyo, Japan as a marketing tool).  It was the 137th Opening Day that the United States has seen, and viewers saw the new-look Miami Marlins (uniforms and players) in the new retractable done stadium take on the defending World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals.
With American's National Past Time back in play, we remember the great days of old...

Greats like Roberto Clemente and Jackie Robinson who meant so much more than just baseball to the world.

Heroic performances like Curt Schilling pitching with the bloody sock in the playoffs.

Achieving the impossible like Ted Williams hitting over .400.

Great teams, the legendary 1927 New York Yankees and Murderer's Row.

Yes, it's time to "Take Me out the Ball Game" again.
